This Sunday, Radio Wowsville gets an Invisible Hand!

Join us on the 'Teej for Radio Wowsville on Sunday night at 11PM. Our special guest DJ will be Adam Smith of Charlottesville pop-psych indie rockers Invisible Hand.

We'll play some favorite melodic '60's tunes, tell some oddball Captain Beefheart stories and talk with Adam about the future of the Hand. We'll also preview music from some of the artists scheduled for the Shadrock Music Festival on April 28. Shadrock -- slated for Brown's Island in Richmond -- is being sponsored by Style Weekly, and has been curated by a certain Radio Wowsville DJ -- do we really need to say his name?

The Saturday festival will feature the likes of De La Soul, Yo La Tengo, Dum Dum Girls and Shabazz Palaces, along with distinguished local and regional acts like the reformed Richmond cult band Kepone and (yes) C-Ville's beloved Invisible Hand.

Join us on Sunday night's Wowsville to get an earful. Go here to hear the show live. And if you can't stay up that late on Sunday, go here to listen to an after-the-fact stream of the show (just click on 'Radio Wowsville').
