Then I got to previewing some shows in town - funny enough, most of them happen Friday, including the Full Moon Fest, which I hope convinces the Fry's Spring Beach Club to have more gigs. Bountiful parking - for those who aren't within walking distance...!
The sad part was marking Mitch Mitchell's passing. I had to play my fave MM moment from the Jimi Hendrix Experience - hit neato hi-hat stuff at 4'30"of "1983...A Merman I Should Turn to Be"; and I found this on youtube. But boy, I wish I had found this.

This was a masterful show — Thoroughly enjoyable. You have to love a program that is expansive enough to find room for Doc Watson, the Bonzo Dog Band, the Housemartins AND "Cow on a Wart's Ass." A high salute going out...
