Radio Wowsville 10/26/08: "If It Ain't Baroque..."

With a nod and a wink to the 2008 WTJU Fall Fundraiser, tonight's Radio Wowsville explored the use of orchestral sounds in rock and pop (among other things). The episode was interrupted numerous times by Spike Jones, who placed rare violins into garbage disposals and re-arranged Strauss for lawn mower and shotgun. That's YOUR cue to get Bizet! Check out the excellent Classical / Jazz Marathon program schedule and click here to donate to your Sound Choice in Central Virginia. Mahler? I hardly knew 'er!
