pure easy listening 8.6.08 playlist

This show started out as a funk/soul/r&b set that was to happen on Radio Wowsville on the night of August 3. Grandpa Coles offered to cover that slot halfway through Sunday afternoon (it was his show, after all), so I just kept going with my planning and shifted the whole shebang to Wednesday. I know the kids like to hear the indie/blog-rawk in this time slot, but who doesn't need a little bit o'funk on a hot, swampy Wednesday afternoon from time to time? I sure as hell do. So:
