Items of interest:
-the Casual Dots song is an Etta James cover
- Casual Dots is the other Billotte sister from Quix*o*tic (the one who's not in White Magic)
- that Quix*o*tic song is a Billy Stewart cover
- then after that great song by Stewart himself (and it's even-better follow-up single), I had no choice but to play that classic jam by the Disco 3, who immediately afterwards changed their name to the Fat Boys
- the "technical "malfunction at 2am refers to the fact that the whole disc album is "tracked" in such a way that our CD players at the station won't play it (every track actually plays out in the "negative" timecode of the following song... those sneaky bastards) -- had to play it off my laptop instead
- disc is a late-90's side project by Matmos, kid606 and Lesser, making records entirely out of scratched CDs
- that 3-song Goslings medley is SO satisfyingly harsh, especially if you crank the bass up.
