Eclectic Mayhem 7/28

Last night was a back-to-back double-team of Radio Wowsville and the Eclectic Mayhem, with DJ's Helvidious and Hummingbird Feeder. Thanks to Jordan for sticking around for my show (and for newly exposing me to two songs with which I'm now obsessed).

Here's how the Mayhem went:

Flower Travellin' Band - "Black Sabbath" (1970)
Swans - "She Lives!" (1995)

the Del-Vikings - "Don't Be a Fool" (1956)
Wagon Christ - "Lovely" (1998)
Venetian Snares - "Circle Pit" (2008)
Hrvatski - "Owls.Souls.Rotten" (1998)
Doris Allen - "Shell of a Woman" (????)

James Brown - "Cold Sweat" (1967)
the Pharcyde - "Ya Mama" (1992)
Mochipet - "Nelly vs. Venetian Snares" (2003)
Dead Western - "Powerfully Beautiful / Beautifully Powerful" (2005)

Drakkar Sauna - "River of Jordan" (2008)
Mirah - "Don't!" (2003)
TwinSisterMoon - "Bones Memories" (2008)
Jonathan Richman - "You're the One for Me" (1990)
Jim Waive and the Young Divorcees - "Fool" (2005)

Tony Conrad with Faust - "From the Side of Man and Womankind" (1972)

Greg Davis - "Custom Made Mobile" (2003)

Prince's "Donna" and "I Cut Myself" by the Wannabe Texans, both of which were played during the Wowsville set (a tracklist of which I expect will be online soon...)
