I haven't downloaded these old 78s yet, but I will tomorrow. I found them at WFMU's Beware of the Blog, which is a little too readable for my own good.
If anyone's been wondering where the R&B and hip-hop joints on my show have been coming from, most likely it's here. Right now he's on this tip tracking down samples; sometimes I'll play the source track, but other times the unoriginal is just as good if not better. No one's allowed to play this before my show on Friday...
